We believe that the church is God’s mission strategy to reach the world with the good news of Jesus.
Our Mission Department exists to support and equip churches to evangelise and plant churches that will plant churches.
Union’s Mission Department is at the receiving end of both theological excellence and generous financial resourcing, and has already supported the planting and revitalising of a number of new churches and their ministries.
Please see the blog for stories from our projects, or get in touch if you’d like to be part of the Union church planting initiative.

Union has a special gospel partnership with SaRang Church in Seoul, Korea. It was born out of a historic desire in Korea to thank the church in Wales for the gift of the gospel, given through the Welsh missionary and martyr Robert Jermain Thomas in Pyongyang in 1866.
As a result, the SaRang-Thomas Centre was opened in 2012 at the West Campus by SaRang’s Senior Pastor, Dr John Oh; we have been able to offer substantial scholarships to students; and Union Mission has been set up to encourage and resource church planting across Europe.
In 2015, Union, SaRang Church, Operation Mobilisation and AT3 signed a commitment to work together for the training and deployment of church planters in close partnership with local churches across Europe. OM Europe and AT3 have designated Union as their training partner for their church planters.
AT3 exists to enable an influx of trained leaders to strengthen, revitalise and plant new churches.
