At Union School of Theology, we are committed to raising up leaders for the worldwide Church. We offer an academically robust theological education as well as deep character formation, working in tailored partnerships with local churches. This means our courses (on campus and in Learning Communities) aren’t ‘off the peg’, and our students aren’t merely ‘customers’. We nurture ministry-long relationships with our students, equipping them to plant churches, resources their congregations, and go on to raise new leaders themselves. Because of this we want to help them fundraise for their academic and living costs, supporting them from day one of their time with us. Below we’re highlighting one of our students and their story. Would you consider investing in growing a leader in Christ’s Church?

My name is Tim Dullaway, and I am a 24 year old second year BA student at Union School of Theology, studying on campus in Bridgend. I am in need of financial support in paying my tuition fees and in purchasing resources for my ongoing studies. I'd love to tell you more about myself and my situation: if you are able to support me financially, you can give online here and Union will direct your gifts to my support. Thank you!

After working as a professional musician for five years, as well as other roles from time to time, it became clear that 2017 was the time to start my training at UST. For more than three years I had been sensing the call from God to study, with a growing urge to enter into pastoral ministry, and a clear sense that UST was the right place for me to prepare for this.

My heart for the church is that each member would grow in their love of Christ, and that out of affection for him, they would love his church and his lost sheep in the world. My heart’s desire is to enter into pastoral ministry and be a part of stirring an affection for Christ by preaching his love, grace, kindness, glory and holiness to people week by week from the Word, seeking to strengthen them in him as they hear of his majesty, and discover what it means that the same God who is over all is also in them.

In the meantime, I am incredibly privileged to be taught and equipped by the faculty and by friends here at UST. The things that I've already learned about the love of the Trinity, the humility of Christ, the history of the church, and many other things will always be a blessing to my life and ministry and I am very excited about what will come next in this journey.

And whether or not you are able to support me financially, I would ask you please to pray for me and my brothers and sisters here at UST, that we would continue to walk in Christ and his truth, and in love for his bride.
