Courses and events What's on Class of 2020 Graduation We’re delighted to be hosting our first ever on-campus graduation and commissioning service! We hope you’ll have a great day, whether you’re donning cap and gown to celebrate the end of your studies, or coming along to support your classmates as they move on to new opportunities. Schedule 9.15am Campus opens 10.00am Last arrivals for graduates 10.30am Ceremony starts 11.20am Coffee break 11.45am Commissioning Service 12.45pm Photo of all Graduates and Faculty 1.00pm Hog Roast, and more time for photos 3.00pm Campus closes Graduates Graduating student tickets include gown, hood and mortarboard hire, and a programme. Campus will be open for photos and help with getting into your gown from 9.15am on the day of the ceremony. Please arrive by 10.00am at the latest, to allow time for dressing and being seated before the ceremony begins. Photo package – graduates only The photography will be done by Something More. If you’re interested in purchasing a photo package, please contact [email protected] to discuss options. Facilities If you or anyone in your party has mobility requirements, please contact Emily at [email protected] so that arrangements can be made. We hope your family will be part of the celebration, but if you wish to take children out at any point, the service will be relayed into an unsupervised crèche room. Accommodation If you’d like to stay overnight before or after your graduation, you can submit a booking for campus accommodation by completing the form here https://www.ust.ac.uk/students/accommodation – just tick the ‘Other’ box in the ‘Type of accommodation’ section and fill in your details. Alternative accommodation is available in the local area too, some within walking distance of campus, and of course there’s always AirBnB! Booking for this event has now closed.
