We invite all current and enrolling students and Learning Community mentors to join us at Union's annual family gathering.

What's on

Come along to hear teaching from various speakers, share news from around the world, and spend time in worship and prayer together as we begin the new academic year. The now legendary bonfire and hog roast returns, along with a games night, pub quiz, and more. The week will finish with the annual dedication service on Friday morning.

The conference includes an introduction to courses and academic skills for students and support and training for Lead Mentors. We strongly encourage you to make this a priority and put it in your diaries now!

Accommodation and meals

You have two options when it comes to accommodation and meals: either staying on campus in a shared twin room (you can let us know if you'd like to share with someone specific), which includes all meals or you can choose to stay in a local hotel/B&B, in which case you'll just need a ticket for meals. Just let us know which you'd like when you book your ticket below.

For those looking for offsite accommodation, some options are below:

When to arrive and leave

During the day of Tuesday 10th September, we will be running a pre-conference programme to welcome and orient all residential campus students. The conference proper begins with dinner that evening (6pm) followed by an opening session led by Michael Reeves. Learning Community students and mentors are welcome to arrive during the day and registration will be open from 3pm.

The conference will close with our annual Dedication Service at 9.30am on Friday, where Jonathan Thomas will be preaching. If you are not a residential student and would like to stay for lunch, please book this separately from your conference ticket via email with Kevin Green.
